Hip-Hop

I don't go a day without it, it's more than a routine though. I just need  to listen to it, and when I do, I analyze it over and over. I guess I do it to understand the artist. I feel like all their emotions come from their words of course, but also the sounds. Beats are feelings, Hip-Hop is a Religion

"They say Hip-Hop is dead, I'm here to resurrect me." -Common

"It's funny I barely told nobody I started rapping, cus see some niggas were haters that I just viewed as clowns. At 14 I knew I was the nicest dude around, I gotta make a move, I gotta do this now, if they dont know your dreams, then they can't shoot em' down." -J. Cole

"What the summer of the Chi' got to offer a 18 year old, sell drugs or get a job you gotta play your role, my dawg worked at Taco Bell, hooked us up; plural. Fired a week later the manager count the Churros, sometimes I can't believe it when I look up in the mirro', how we out in Europe, spending Euros. They claim you never know what you got till its gone, I know I got it, I don't know what ya'll on." -K. West
